Biotech Booster

Biotech Booster is een nationaal groeifondsprogramma dat de commercialisering van biotechnologische kennis en innovaties in Nederland versnelt. Het programma ondersteunt onderzoekers en ondernemers bij het omzetten van biotechnologische ideeën naar investeerbare en maatschappelijk relevante toepassingen door financiële middelen, mentorship en een uitgebreid netwerk beschikbaar te stellen.

Het doel van Biotech Booster is om de valorisatie van biotechnologie te versterken en zo te zorgen dat nieuwe oplossingen sneller impact hebben op maatschappelijke uitdagingen op het gebied van gezondheid, voedsel, energie en duurzaamheid. Hiervoor werkt het programma nauw samen met kennisinstellingen, bedrijven en andere partners binnen de biotechnologiesector en structureert het activiteiten in thematische clusters over verschillende biotechnologische focusgebieden.

Binnen dit netwerk is UNL vertegenwoordigd in zowel de werkgroep als de stuurgroep van Biotech Booster, waarmee zij bijdragen aan de strategische afstemming en ontwikkeling van het programma.
