Simone Kuipers

Simone Kuipers is a policy adviser at Universities of the Netherlands. Within the HR domain, her main focus lies on the national Recognition & Rewards programme. In addition, as a member of the Communication Public Affairs team, she monitors developments in the area of education and research in the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives. She is also involved in organising the Knowledge Café.

 

Simone graduated from Radboud University as a sociologist (BA and MSc), and also completed an MSc in Conflict, Territories & Identities. During that time, Simone was a member of the programme committee. She also worked for the Radboud Green Office, where she created a long-term network among the Dutch Universities. As part of her studies she carried out research in Israel and the Palestinian territories, completed an internship at the Verwey-Jonker Institute, and wrote articles on eastern European relations for the Donau platform.
