Laura Wieseman

Laura Wieseman is project manager/policy adviser for the University-Trained Teachers programme of the Interuniversity Committee for Teacher Training (ICL) and Universities of the Netherlands. She coordinates various projects, and is involved in multiple national university teacher-training and teacher policy portfolios, including the teacher shortage, Joint Training & Professional Development (SO&P), lateral entry, appropriate/inclusive education, and curriculum.
 

Laura studied International Relations and International Organisation at the University of Groningen, later working as a lecturer in International Relations and as a work placement supervisor. After that, she found her way to the Radboud Teachers Academy (Radboud University), where she worked as work-placement and education coordinator, and was also involved with internationalisation and participation. Now, at UNL-ICL, she contributes to the training of more quality academic lecturers.
