Liselotte de Langen
Liselotte de Langen works for Universities of the Netherlands as a policy adviser in the International and Association domains.
Within the International domain, her focus area is student mobility: Erasmus+, the Holland Scholarship Programme, Internationalisation at Home, Mobstacles, the National Inclusive Internationalisation Committee, and periodic consultation with the Immigration and Naturalisation Service and the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice and Security, and Education, Culture and Science. She also works on the Code of Conduct for International Students.
Within the Association domain, Liselotte is the point of contact for the Dutch Knowledge City Network and works with the board secretary to prepare for official and management meetings. She is also involved in the association's strategic projects.
Liselotte completed a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University, and an MSc in Sociology: Migration and Ethnic Studies at the University of Amsterdam. After gathering experience abroad in Bologna and Vienna, she began her career at the International Organization for Migration. Afterwards she worked as an Admissions Officer at Leiden University, where she was involved with admissions and visa applications from future international and other students. She was also part of the Student and Educational Affairs Council (a representative advisory council).
