Eva Kloosterman (1987) is Head of Communication & Public Affairs at Universities of the Netherlands. She advises the board, management and policy officers on topics involving both communication and politics, and maintains contact with the universities to ensure convincing and consistent messaging. She monitors the political landscape in The Hague, and follows the news and media as it relates to the activities and responses of UNL.
Eva studied History at the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University. Her interest and passion in politics and communication was heightened during her internship as a personal assistant to a parliamentary chair in the Dutch House of Representatives. Afterwards, she worked in the communications department of the National Committee for 4 and 5 May. Her work at the Dutch Debating Institute enabled her to hone her skills in political and other forms of argument, after which she returned to The Hague as a spokesperson for the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences. She joined Universities of the Netherlands in 2022.
