Helian Ophorst

Helian Ophorst (b. 1966) is secretary to the Executive Board and the Management Board, facilitating correct information and logistics throughout the working week for the president and director of the VSNU office.

Helian studied Dutch Language and Literature at Leiden University and Cultural Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Before joining the VSNU, Helian worked at Science Alliance,where she was responsible for organising international academic conferences and on-site management. She also worked as a project manager at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
