Ruben Puylaert

Ruben Puylaert (b. 1994) works as a spokesperson at the Universiteiten van Nederland. He maintains contact with the press and provides them with information on all the issues that arise within the universities.

Ruben studied Public Administration & Management Science (Bachelor’s) and Governance & Policy (Master’s) at Utrecht University. Alongside his studies, Ruben worked as a trainee in the Regulatory Pressure & ICT Policy Department at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. He additionally served as a board member of the National Chamber of Associations (LKvV), where he was responsible for public affairs and higher education-related matters.
