Willemijn Lamet

Willemijn Lamet (b. 1983) is integral security policy adviser at the VSNU. Her areas of interest include cybersecurity, the social safety of university staff and students, knowledge security and crisis management.

 

After studying Psychology and Criminology at Utrecht University, she worked as a scientist at the Netherlands Institute for Social Research and the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement. Among other things, she conducted research into probation supervision, the effects of punishment on offenders, the consequences of crime for victims and feeling (un)safe. She also worked at The Hague University of Applied Sciences as a lecturer, coordinator and consultant. As programme manager for H/Overstap, she was responsible for projects to enable students to transfer more successfully from senior secondary vocational education to higher professional education.
