Jaap Verheij

As of March 2020, Jaap Verheij (1961) has led the Human Resources domain at Universiteiten van Nederland. Jaap studied Sociology of Businesses and Organisations at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before he joined Universiteiten van Nederland, he worked as an HR director for various international companies in the market sector. His responsibilities in this role included HR policy, organisational development, collective labour agreement negotiations and employee participation in decision-making. Jaap: ‘The HR profession unites key aspects of business operations. Playing a progressive role in those can make all the difference. That is my goal.’
