PERSONAL DATA THAT ARE PROCESSED
The VSNU may process your personal data when you make use of its services and/or when you yourself submit these data by filling in a contact form on the website. The VSNU may process the following personal data:
- your first and last name;
- your address;
- your telephone number;
- your email address;
- your IP address.
WHY THE VSNU NEEDS YOUR DATA
The VSNU processes your personal data to contact you by telephone at your request and/or to approach you in writing (by letter or by email) in the event that it is unable to reach you by phone. Furthermore, the VSNU may use your personal data in connection with the implementation of an service agreement (typically involving legal services) which it has entered into with you.
HOW LONG THE DATA ARE STORED
The VSNU will not store your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data have been collected. In the event that no agreement is reached with you, your data will be stored for a period not to exceed one year.
SHARING WITH OTHERS
The VSNU will share your personal data with third parties only in the event that it is necessary in order to implement an agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation.
TRACKING VISITS TO THE WEBSITE
The VSNU website stores general information in respect of visits to the site, including your computer’s IP address, the time of accessing the site and any data sent by your browser. These data are used to analyse visitor and click behaviour on the website. The VSNU uses this information to improve the functioning of its website. These data are rendered anonymous whenever possible and are not shared with third parties.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
The VSNU uses Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use its website. The information thus obtained, including your computer’s IP address, is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. See the Google privacy policy for more information. Google may disclose this information to third parties if Google is required to do so by law, or insofar as those third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. This is beyond the control of the VSNU. The VSNU has not granted Google its consent to use information obtained via Analytics for the purposes of other Google services.
INSPECTING, RECTIFYING OR ERASING YOUR DATA
You have the right to inspect, rectify or erase your personal data. To do so, send your request for inspection, rectification or erasure to post@vsnu.nl. The VSNU will respond as quickly as possible, in any case within a term of four weeks.
SECURITY
The VSNU takes the security of your data seriously and has taken appropriate measures to prevent their misuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired provision or unauthorised alteration. The VSNU website makes use of a reliable SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data do not fall into the wrong hands.
