Institutes of higher education want things to return to normal without the 1.5-metre social distancing rule and would prefer a situation without mandatory testing for students. 

'We really want a full reopening', said Pieter Duisenberg, President of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU), yesterday in the current affairs programme Nieuwsuur, 'and that should be our top priority. We want to approach this in terms of creating possibilities. That is why we urge students: Going to university? Get vaccinated!"
