SDG-Challenge 2021 - Register now!

How can you make sure that your product or service remains future-proof? What can and cannot be recycled within the supply chain? How do you make your customers financially more resilient?

Last year all Dutch Universities teamed up with partners such as Heineken, ABN AMRO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Municipality of Eindhoven to digitally work on 15 challenges they faced related to the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations (SDGs). In collaboration with the Association of Universities, registration for the third edition of the SDG-Challenge is now open. There are still 12 spots available for organizations.

How does it work?
The mission of the SDG-Challenge is to mobilize students and companies to work together on the SDGs. Each company claims one of the fifteen university teams and joins forces with these students. During a digital 'sprint day', the student consultant team will work on a challenge that the company itself has in the field of CSR/SDG.

During the final, all participating partners and students will present their solutions. In addition to inspiration and broadening knowledge in the area of the SDGs, this project offers students the opportunity to participate in these impactful challenges.

Why participate?
The SDG Challenge is the biggest university challenge in the Netherlands in the field of the SDGs. The student teams provide inspiring 'out-of-the-box' ideas for a concrete applicable solution for your own SDG Challenge. In addition, all organizations become part of the sustainable ecosystem of students, universities and organizations.

Through our choices and actions, we all can contribute to achieving the SDGs of the United Nations. The SDGs are about you. Become a partner of the SDG-Challenge and make some impact!

Information
Youth agency Soapbox - the initiator of the competition - developed a special "pressure-cooker" in collaboration with Impact Hub. A tool in which the teams actively develop ideas in 1 day so that the teams will come up with tangible and actionable ideas that will contribute to the SDGs. Besides our collaboration with our knowledge partners Impact Hub & VSNU we are also partnered by Duurzaam ondernemen.
