Opening Academic Year 2019-2020

On Monday 2 September, Dutch universities will be celebrating the official opening to the new academic year. This festive occasion centres around students, staff and the university itself and will feature various lectures. For instance, Minister of Education, Culture and Science Ingrid van Engelshoven will be speaking at Leiden University. Additionally, WOinActie will also be holding an opening for the new academic year in Leiden, featuring lectures that focus on the position of the university and the pressure it is subject to. Click here for more information on what the various universities have planned for the opening of the academic year (Dutch only).
