Dutch universities organise the Digital Society Conference

Digital information technology is becoming ever more deeply and rapidly entrenched in our society. It won’t be long before everyone is permanently connected to each other via the Internet. It has already become clear that extensive digitalisation is set to radically change practically all aspects of society, not only in the Netherlands but throughout the world.

That is why the fourteen Dutch universities, united in the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU), join forces in the research programme Digital Society and are working together to find solutions to global challenges.

The Dutch universities are organising the Digital Society Conference on Tuesday 27 November to build closer ties with knowledge organisations, the corporate sector and government, and invest in innovative research for a better digital society.
