Sickness and Disability Scheme for the Dutch Universities (ZANU)
Since December 1999 the universities have had their own regulations governing unemployment, sickness and disability, and sickness costs. Agreements on social security are not set out in the CLA booklet, but in separate annexes.

In the event of sickness or disability, University staff are covered by the Sickness and Disability Scheme for the Dutch Universities (download from the right-hand column), governing, among other things, the continued payment of salary during sickness.
